The Spring 21 Trend Edit at Precious
We had a great time putting together our key trends this season and thanks for joining us online. With a rather different spring/summer ahead of us we bought in a much more edited way, seeking out key pieces that will work hard in your wardrobe and offer versatility for a more relaxed summer with more outdoor socialising, and a more hybrid office/wfh work life balance.
1. FANTASTIC FLORALS
Floral prints continue to be a key trend this summer. Larger scale more painterly prints in joyful, exuberant water colours appear, alongside more graphic floral prints. The Pom Amsterdam collection is particularly strong this season. Pretty all over floral prints in shades of blues, lilacs and pinks from Suncoo and Part Two complete the trend which looks fresh with any shade of denim.
2. RUFFLE IT UP
Feminine ruffle details, full sleeves and tiered dresses are all key silhouettes in this trend which can look very feminine and yet quite cool and edgy styled with a cool trainer. Frills and ruffles feature on knitwear from Essentiel Antwerp and longer tiered dresses which will become a summer staple are great from Selected Femme, Munthe and Part Two.
3. SUNSHINE SHADES
An optimistic burst of yellow appears this season from full on golden sunshine yellow by Selected Femme, to fresh stripes and fun florals from Essentiel Antwerp and Pom Amsterdam. The richer golden tones will look stunning on a summer evening and suit darker hair, if you think you can't wear yellow, try a sharper citrus shade which suits blonde or grey hair complexions well.
4. 70'S SAFARI
Think The Serpent with tailored clean seperates in shades of beige and khaki with an elevated simplicity from danish collections Selected Femme and Part Two. Team with edgy black and white graphic zebra prints by Essential Antwerp and sharper green botanical prints from Pom Amsterdam for a twist on a classic nuetral colour palette. Don't forget to add those aviator sunglasses by Part Two to complete the look.
5. STREET STYLE
Urban styling goes upscale with cool track inspired trousers, sporty trims and elevated sweatshirts combined with oversize slogan tees and a new take on the classic little tweed jacket all by Essentiel Antwerp - yes mix it all up and be bold with it. Just add as many accessories as you like the more the better, oh and super cool trainers - that's it!
